On the last weekend of November, the non-profit association Ateliers Monde– which I co-founded– organized the event “Ateliers Voyageurs” (Traveling  workshops) destined to every travel and crafts aficionado .
From Peru to Japan, and through Cambodia, Ateliers Monde invited workshops which carry the excellence of local expertise through their products: Shopu–Japanese craftsmanship–and Motché Paris-Lima–Peruvian luxury jewelry. You could also see an exhibition of my photographs taken from the Cambodia Chapter of World Textiles & Artisans, and get postcards and bookmarks chosen from a selection of my textiles stories.
For the occasion, the association has also edited a mini-collection of hand-woven scarves in collaboration with a sustainable weaving workshop located in Cambodia. Inspired by the iconic Krama, these cotton scarves were dyed with natural pigments from plants and barks of Siem Reap area, close to the workshop. By the way, for those who missed the sale, there are still pieces available, if you want to make meaningful gifts which are real invitations to travel! Don’t hesitate to contact me!

During this successful four-day trunk show, you were many to come visit us in our Paris gallery Le Marais, 15 rue Elzevir. Thank you all for your interest and your enthusiasm! And see you soon!
